An all-in-one audio solution
This revolutionary, award-winning amplifier is designed as a two-channel amplifier using Class D amplifier technology. It can be used to power low-impedance stereo systems with a maximum output of 2 x 40 W, and is also bridged to DC voltage (100 V and 70 V) with a maximum output power of 80 W. The switching power supply provides a wide range of line voltages for global compatibility.
The built-in SourceCon™* module slot allows you to install any available compatible modules, offering a truly universal solution. Typical applications are an audio streaming module or an Internet radio module. Additionally, a stereo line input allows you to connect any external audio sources.
The balanced mic/line input allows you to connect a microphone for announcements, and also provides compatibility with condenser microphones that use built-in phantom power (15V). A priority switch mutes background music, and compatibility with line-level sources (such as voice file players) is guaranteed by a wide range of gain control (0dB ~ +50dB). This gain control controls both the sensitivity of the rear and front panel line inputs. The 2.8" TFT display and front-panel rotary control provide unparalleled usability.
Note that the RCA input is shared with the line-in on the rear of the unit, meaning the rear input is disabled when the front input is in use.
The presence of a line-out on the rear of the unit makes it even more versatile. This line output can be used as a preamp output, where the input and volume are the same as the internal amplifier, or as a separate output for a secondary stereo zone, where both zones (inputs, volume control, and more) can operate completely independently of each other.
On the back of the unit is a priority mute contact that mutes the music when the contacts between both jacks are closed. Priority activation of the microphone input overrides muting, allowing you to transmit emergency messages or voice messages.
MFA Series devices are controlled via RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP protocols, allowing them to be used in home and industrial automation systems, as well as with peripheral devices. With the free AUDAC Touch™ 2 app, control and configuration can be accomplished from any portable or desktop device, anywhere, anytime.
Desktop or rack mounting available using MBS310 Series mounting adapters. The chassis takes up half of the 19" rack space, allowing you to mount one device in a 10.5" rack or two devices side by side in a 19" rack.
When installing the (optional) ANI44XT Dante™ Audio Interface, music from an installed SourceCon™ module or connected line input signal can be sent over your Dante™ audio network to other compatible devices or amplifiers. Using Dante™, you can even play priority messages with virtually zero latency (100ms) to your audience.
