Server cabinet

Server cabinet is a specialized metal structure designed to house and protect server, network and telecommunications equipment. Such cabinets are manufactured according to the international standard 19 inches and allow compact installation of various equipment in a single case.

Switches, routers, patch panels, servers, data storage systems, video recorders, access control equipment and other devices are usually installed in a server cabinet. Thanks to vertical mounting profiles marked in units (U), the equipment is easy to install and maintain.

Using a server cabinet provides several important advantages: protection of equipment from dust and mechanical damage, convenient organization of cable connections, effective ventilation and quick access to devices. Many models are equipped with perforated doors, cooling systems and the ability to install locks.

Today, the most in demand are floor-standing server cabinets with a height of 22U to 42U, as well as compact wall-mounted telecommunications cabinets (6U–18U). When choosing, it is important to take into account the depth of the cabinet, the maximum load, the type of doors and the availability of cable management.

Server cabinets are actively used in the installation of video surveillance systems, structured cabling systems (SCS), security systems and the construction of IT infrastructure in offices, data centers and commercial facilities.
